This is the ultimate ATV, made for the military as a multi-purpose cargo vehicle. It is truly all terrain with climbing capability of 60 degrees incline, a traverse of 40 degrees, and fording of up to 18 inches of water. These were designed for air transport so it weights 950 lbs unloaded, but is rated to carry up to 1000 lbs of payload on it’s aluminum deck. The wheel base allows it to fit in a standard pick up truck bed, and be driven off on aluminum ramps. Each wheel has lash buckles for pick up by crane and securing for transporation. The low pressure ag rated tires are easy on terrain but provide excellent traction and serve to absorb shock. They can also be equipped for pulling trailers, and have winches installed on front and rear. The 12 volt electrical system offers a wide range of possible accessories such as sprayers, pumps, winches, etc.

The engine is a 2 cylinder air-cooled 4 stroke, 14 hp Hercules with electric start. These are very durable and reliable motors. There is a governor that limits the rpms which also automatically limits downhill acceleration by engine compression. The transmission is a dual range 3 speed that offers a creeping speed up to about 25 mph. The clearance on the differentials is very good as each wheel is offset with portal axles adding to the undercarriage clearance. The wheels are locked so that as long as any wheel has traction it will move. It is also designed to be operated from a standing or kneeling position off of the vehicle. The steering wheel positions forward and the controls can be operated from a standing position so it can be maneuvered while walking beside it. A tow bar can also be used that can utilize the mule as a trailer.

These are excellent vehicles for farms, orchards, ranches, and the ultimate choice for backcountry outfitters, fisherman, hunters, forestry, logging, and geologists.
